Alberta Premier Danielle Smith is defending her sweeping changes to the province's youth gender policies, which include prohibiting hormonal treatment, puberty blockers and gender-affirming surgery for children 15 years and younger. Smith says she doesn't want young people making 'irreversible' decisions.
