I'm absolutely obsessed with this band, and I'm excited to see where they go. I've listened to their new album, The Doppler Affection, so many times, and this track is by far my favorite. I love how the verse of the song allows the bass to take the place of the guitar — it's such a unique sound, and I'm here for it. The drumming on this album is also incredible. Being written and recorded by El Estepario Siberiano, I would have thought the drumming would be nothing but crazy chops and lack any musicality. But after listening to the album, I could not have been more wrong. The drums on not only this song but the entire album are amazing. He does a great job of complementing the other instruments while still playing short bursts of crazy chops that make me want to rewind and listen to the song over and over again.
