Sam, Chase and I decided to hike Thompson Point, in the Middle Fork Snoqualmie area, just 50 minutes east of Seattle. Even with micro spikes and poles, we couldn't make it to the top because the snow was too deep and hiking was getting challenging. so we decided to take a detour along the trail and go to Granite Lakes. It was a beautiful spot, we were surrounded by incredible peaks in the quietness of this winter wonderland. We were literally right behind Mailbox Peak, a very popular hiking destination, but we met very few people along the way. We are looking forward to going back (maybe in the summer ☀️) and enjoy the great beauty of Washington State! Stay tuned for my new postcards!
