Painting polyethylene or poly propylene can be very difficult. These plastics are impervious to gasoline and every other chemical on this planet, Including paint. There are times when you want to change the color of a polyethylene part. There are some techniques that I use that can accomplish this task. It may not be the most durable finish, but they do work.
