PREVIOUSLY:
Dart is sitting on a stump reading a bulletin about the crisis within the country. He then comes across two riding soldiers who questions him on which empire he is aligned to. They are interrupted however by the Green-Tusked dragon Feyrbrand, which causes the soldiers to flee, leaving Dart to fend for himself.

Running from the gigantic beast, Dart is rescued by a travelling female warrior, who informs him about the tragedy that had befell on the nearby village of Seles. Upon hearing this, Dart quickly rushes to the village while the female warrior takes out a mysterious stone that glows brightly due to her interaction with Dart.

Upon arriving in Seles, Dart is informed by a villager about the recent attack, and fends off the remaining patrolling soldiers within the village, he quickly makes his way through a nearby forest after learning from the commander of the soldiers that his childhood friend Shana had been taken away to Hellena Prison.
