Set to become Southeast Asia’s first-ever high-speed rail network, the Jakarta to Bandung Railway will become Indonesia’s game-changing project ever. It spans over 142 kilometers and is estimated to cost way over $8 billion united states dollars, making it one of the country’s most expensive projects to date. Although it will become one of Indonesia’s finest projects of the decade, it is also one of its most problematic ones.
