Some people with first-hand experience decide to act on their consciences and report on the problems internally – and, if necessary, expose the problems publicly. These whistleblowers serve our society by telling the truth – sometimes at great risk to themselves.
During this hour we will learn about whistleblowers from two expert guests:
Louis Clark is the Executive Director of a non-profit organization that helps whistleblowers, the Government Accountability Project
Scott Allen is a medical doctor with 40 years of experience working in refugee settings, jails, etc., along with his regular medical practice. Dr. Allen was responsible for monitoring activities at the Department of Homeland Security’s detention facilities.
