Remembering Heba Al-Abadlah • Gaza: Journalists Under Fire • BRAVE NEW FILMS (BNF)

This Mother’s Day, we remember Heba Al-Abadlah — a Palestinian journalist, news anchor, media activist, and mother. On January 9, 2024, Heba, her young daughter Judy, and several family members were killed when an Israeli airstrike hit their home in Khan Younis.

She was the 111th journalist killed in Gaza. Since October 7, over 200 journalists have been killed - more than in both World Wars combined.
