00:00 Departure to Incheon

00:56 Day 1 Arrival, Hotel Seattle
We arrived in Incheon on Dec 11 2024.
We checked in at Hotel Seattle and then we headed to 7/11 to get snacks.

02:53 Day 2 Gwangjang market, Namsan Tower, Myeongdong night market

After check out, we had breakfast at Starbucks. We all had Matcha Lattes and sandwiches. We also tried their holiday cakes. Then we travelled to Travelodge Dongdaemun as our hotel for the next 5 days. To our surprise, Gwangjang market was just a few blocks away so we went here for late lunch.

In one of their stalls, we had noodles, dumplings and bibimbap. Kimchi was unlimited and water! We continued to walk around and we bought Tteokbokki.

As it was still early, we continued to go to Namsan Tower. We got lost along the way and had issues with our T-money card but got sorted out in the end. We had a little trek to the base of the cable car where we had to take a small inclined lift which was also fun and a unique experience.
There, we took loads of photos!

After Namsan, we headed over to Myeongdong Night Market. Almost everything is overpriced compared to other areas, but for the experience, we still tried quite a few items which were interesting for us. We had pork skewer, deep fried baby crabs, takoyali, Corn dog, Red bean hotteok, korean fried chicken in sweet sauce and Oreo churros.

We also got the Squid game dalgona candy which all broke even before attempting to cut with a toothpick!

11:57 Day 3 LOTTE World Adventure and Aquarium day

We surprised the twins a visit to Lotte World and Aquarium.
We got there almost at noon so we decided to have lunch first at Dominos before it got crowded.
Since we were in Korea, we decided to order KBBQ Pizza and additional Carbonara which were both divine!
Pickles and sodas can be refilled once.

After roaming around and trying a couple of rides, we decided to leave and head to the aquarium. It was one of the coolest aquariums we have ever been to!
We saw many different species of fish plus we saw a Beluga Whale!

In the same area, we entered Aqua Garden Cafe. We had a little rest stop and ordered Earl Grey Cake, Coffee and Tea.

On our way back to the hotel, we decided to stop by Gwangjang to have dinner. We had pork ears and innards, bowls of fish cake soup, tteokbokki and japchae.

54:43 Day 4 Chill day in Hongdae.

We ventured out a little late on this day as we only planned go to Hongdae.
We had unlimited K-bbq for lunch at All You Can Eat Pig Company. Awesome experience!

We promised the twins that we'll visit Sanrio Cafe and so we brought them there and it was like a haven! We had cute lattes with sanrio characters choco design, kuromi and cinnamoroll cakes. Afterwards we went in the shop and bought pencil cases.

We walked around to check out shops and we ended up at Nike where we bought ourselves new shoes. Awesome customer service!
There was a Lotteria in the area so we had dinner there. Their burgers were so good. Reminded us of the PH.


58:51 Day 5 Gyeongbokgung Palace, Rain Cafe Croissant

Gyeongbokgung Palace Day.
We were so lucky to have witnessed changing of the guards at the Palace. Entry fee was 6,000 KWON x1 adult and free for kids and those wearing a Hanbok.
The weather was awesome so were able to roam around nicely and we took a little snack break at Sarang, which is their coffee shop inside the palace grounds.

Then, we walked to an area of small restaurants in alleys and we had an amazing lunch at Chebudong Janchijip. Ths shop was full and we were the only foreigners so it was a good sign that they serve delicious food!
We had noodles, steamed dumplings and ones in soup plus oyster omelette. All were 100% delicious!

Then we headed to Rain Cafe Croissant. It was situated in a vibrant area where there are lots of pop up shops. We had lattes and few bites. They were all delicious and quality is top notch!
We also spotted a k-bbq place where we had dinner after. No clue what the name was as it was all in Korean but again, we were the only foreigners in the shop, the rest were all locals.

01:11:37 Day 6 Last day A twosome cafe, Kbbq, Departure

We went back to Hongdae as we still had to buy couple more items for family.
We first had brekky at A twosome cafe. Quality of coffee and pastries were so good.
We went to Adidas and Daiso and other small shops.
Twins' request was to have Kbbq again so we had lunch at Pig company again

After lunch there was a light snowfall.
But we still had to try the famous tall ice cream around the corner. We had chocolate and matcha together. For its price it was good but there are other better ice creams than that. But the experience was fun!

Since we still had time, we stopped by Holly's to have coffee and people watch.
Then we headed back to the hotel.to collect our luggages and we took the Airport limo to get to the airport.
