Edit: ok I'm coming back before the video is released to talk more about Happily Ever After (HEA) because I read some stuff from the developers that really made me realize more about it. I take back what I said about feeling that HEA is in opposition to the theming of the game, because as the devs said it was intended to be an Epilogue for the entire game as a whole. Therefore, there's another layer of commentary talking about the ending of the game. The room in HEA functions as a representation of the game as a whole, a series of choices of something that you enjoy brought out to eternity, playing through Slay the Princess over and over again. But eventually you find the end, and you have to learn to let go. The game is over, it's fully finished and sometimes you have to move on from things. Cool that's about the gist, there's probably a bit more I could get into but this video is already over an hour and I intended for it to be a shorter one ok byeeeeee
