Music in the Somerset Hills pays tribute to iconic British composer Benjamin Britten on the centenary of his birth with a concert highlighting a few of his most beloved choral and instrumental works. The women of the internationally-acclaimed chamber choir Antioch Chamber Ensemble perform his charming A Ceremony of Carols, accompanied by harpist Merynda Adams. The Somerset Hills Chorus, conducted by Stephen Sands, performs selections including Rejoice in the Lamb, and Hymn to the Virgin with members of the Summer Voices Youth Choir and organist Brian Harlow.
This performance was recorded on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at St. John on the Mountain Church in Bernardsville, NJ.
