Discovered by hide, the legendary guitarist of X JAPAN, CUTT made his debut in 1999 with the band shame under the LEMONed label. Since then, he has explored various projects, including the twin-vocal unit ORCA, and is currently active as a solo artist while leading the cosmic rock band SPEED OF LIGHTS.

In October 2023, he released his fourth solo album, “Fell in Love with Music.”

A passion for world history sparked by his daughter’s university entrance exam led him to immerse himself in studying, ultimately passing Keio University’s highly competitive general entrance exam in just three months.

Now, as a 47-year-old Keio University freshman and musician, he continues to pursue both music and lifelong learning with unwavering dedication.
