Dollar Academy 990 Pipe Band competing in the Novice Juvenile A finals at the 2024 British Pipe Band Championship. This was held at Grant Park in Forres on Saturday 8th June 2024. The band, who were led by Pipe Major Callum Beaumont and wearing McNabb tartan, were awarded 1st place in Novice Juvenile A for this performance. The tune set was Hugh Kennedy, Maggie Cameron and Capt. Lachlan McPhail of Tiree.
Hosted by a partnership between YBD Music Ltd and the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association, the Championship involved about 120 bands and over 4,000 pipers & drummers.
