The Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation, responsible for overseeing the mosque's construction, is adopting a novel approach to fund the project.
Haji Arfat Shaikh, the new chief of the mosque's development committee, revealed that their objective is to construct one of India's largest mosques, surpassing even the Taj Mahal in design. The mosque's new blueprint includes five minarets, a unique feature making it the first mosque in India with such a design. These five minarets symbolize the five major pillars of Islam—Shahada (Profession of Faith), Salat (Prayer), Zakat (Alms), Sawm (Fasting), and Hajj (Pilgrimage).

Shaikh explained that bricks inscribed with verses from the Quran will be sent to Madinah and prominent dargahs across India. Additionally, plans for a water and light show at the mosque are in progress. The mosque, allotted a 5-acre plot in Dhannipur, approximately 25 kilometers from Ayodhya's center, following the Supreme Court's decision in the Ram Janmabhoomi case in February 2020, remains a symbol of religious diversity and cultural integration."
