How to Sew Ken's Chill Shirt - Part 1

Barbie was always getting the most of your doll clothes sewing creations, while Ken almost always gets left with not enough. For this video, we are making our dear boy Ken his CHILL SHIRT - a short-sleeved, simpler, and easier-to-make version. In this series, I will teach you how I sewed his collar and sleeves - two of our most dreaded parts to sew! I promise they should be easy!

The tools and materials you will use in this project are the following:

Plastic tape
Paper scissors
Light-weight fabric
pencil or fabric marker
measuring tape
anti-fray solution
medium-sized paintbrush
fabric scissors
sewing machine or hand-sewing needles
matching thread
pair of scissors for cutting thread
thread for basting (preferably in a contrasting color)
tweezer
dressmakers' pins
seam ripper
doll for fitting
snaps or velcro tape for closure
optional interfacing fabric
