Jag Musafir Jag,Na Kar Nend Pyari||D.Hafiz Muhammad Suleman Misbahi||"Jazbati Bayan"

“O traveler! Wake up, do not remain lost in deep sleep.”
Every believer that this world is not our permanent home. We are travelers (musafir) on the journey toward the Hereafter. The "sleep" here is symbolic—it refers to negligence, carelessness, and being overly attached to worldly desires, forgetting the purpose of life.
Islam teaches that the world is temporary and every person is on a journey toward Allah.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler.” (Bukhari)
This means we should not become so attached to this dunya that we forget our eternal home in the Hereafter.
The "sleep" (nend) represents heedlessness. People become so busy with wealth, pleasure, and status that they forget death and accountability.
Allah says in the Qur’an:
“The mutual rivalry for piling up (worldly things) diverts you, until you visit the graves.” (Surah At-Takathur 102:1–2)

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ❁ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ ❁ إنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَجِيْدٌ ❁ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ❁ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ ❁ إنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَجِيْدٌ
A translation of the Arabic text is:
"O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you sent blessings upon Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, you are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. Indeed, you are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious."
