This video showcases the attraction with a flashlight on and was taken by the Wardrobe Dept. of Knott's Berry Farm in 1983. Since capturing blacklight dark rides was difficult back in the day. They used this footage to document the ride and for reference in changing the aesthetics of the characters as well. That and for future use to show people how the ride did look in the dark.
The only negative being you won't be able to see what made the ride quite beloved in the first place. It may not do the ride justice, but it does give you an idea of how vibrant, imaginative, and incredible the set design for the ride was. Let alone the character designs by Rolly Crump.
