They’re the children of one of England’s best-ever footballers, and today James and Gemma Owen open up for the first time about how James has grown up with a disease that has left him clinically blind. James was born with Stargardt disease, which he was diagnosed with at 8. It causes a degeneration of the retina, and he will be discussing how this has affected his day-to-day life, and how he’s finally accepted the disease. Gemma will reveal how she’s supported her brother through everything, and reminisce on her summer of love on last year's Love Island.
