(21 Feb 1963) A new collection from Norman Hartnell, the Royal dressmaker. "Crystallised Violet", a chiffon evening dress, heavily embroidered with pearls, brilliants and drop crystals. "Apple Jack" a strikingly simple linen suit, worn with a bold and very gay silk shirt. "Marble Staircase": an evening gown of cellophane lace which also features the heavily encrusted embroidery - this time in silver and crystal. "Standard Rose" another creation for the big occasion in silk jersey.
