One of the all time great tunes to be found in the Danish folk tradition. The tune is, as almost all are in Danish trad, an older dance tune with a specific dance to the tune. The dance is from an island called Møn, so the tune and dance are often referred to as Femskaft fra Møn (Femskaft form Møn). We have played this one slower than what the normal dance tempo would be, giving it a beautiful expressive lilt. In addition to the tempo change, we decided to transpose this one from the original key of G to Eb, giving an even richer sound.
