Recovery is all I’ll be doing during my menstrual phase. It’s easier on my body and feels more effective than forcing myself through a cardio or strength. Most importantly, I need to remind myself that this is okay. It is okay to take it easy when your body is sloughing an organ. I’ve also been learning more about what foods are ideal during each phase of my cycle with what’s known as “the cycle diet”. I just work on being mindful on what foods would be best at certain times and adjust accordingly.
