TIPS ON HOW TO PASS SATA NCLEX QUESTIONS 2021|STRATEGIES TO PASS SATA QUESTIONS|SATA APPROACH

In this video I explain the best tips on how to answer SATA (select all that apply) questions. What are SATA questions? It means Select All That Apply. The NCLEX typically presents questions where you are presented with only 4 answer choices (options ABCD) where you have to choose one answer but sometimes you can get a question with 5-6 options where the answer is one, more than one or all options being correct.
Recent update on SATA questions shows that the answer can be one, more than one or all options being correct.
You cannot get partial credit on SATA questions, so you either get it right or wrong.
The following are best tips on how to answer SATA questions;
1. Understand your content in and out. When you understand your content well, it gives you a basis for good judgment. Read at least 2 content books.
2. Read the primary question very well. Remember, failing to understand what the question requires will send you to choose wrong options.
3. Treat each option independently. Do not see the current option in light of other options. Never combine options. Each should instead be treated independently.
4. Treat each option as a TRUE/FALSE statement. After you understand what the primary question is requiring of you, judge whether that is true or false.
5. Practice as many SATA as possible.The more you practice, the more that phobia for answering SATA questions diminishes
