I stayed on a beautiful traditional houseboat in the Kerala Backwaters. The backwaters are a series of canals and lagoons in the state of Kerala in South India. The houseboats are one of the most popular things to do in Kerala and included some traditional Keralan food such as the banana leaf platter known as a Sadhya.
