Today I want to walk you through some important questions you need to ask yourself when developing your own mead recipe! There are 11 question (I know that's a lot but bear with me). You can find the questions below and a notes link for more information about each one!

1.) What alcohol by volume am I looking to achieve?
2.) Is It going to be a traditional or other kind of mead?
3.) For fruit or spice mead, am I planning on adding the ingredients in the primary or secondary?

5.) What kind of yeast do I need?
6.) When and how much yeast nutrient do I add?
7.) Do I want to make it still or carbonated?
8.) Post fermentation do I want my brew to be dry, semi-sweet or sweet?
