(About 30 seconds of the intro cut off.)
I trace the history of the syllogism "Evolution means no Adam; no Adam, no fall; no fall, no atonement; no atonement, no need for Jesus or God." Does believing in the atoning power of the death and resurrection of Jesus, the Son of God, entail a rejection of evolution? I argue that the syllogism is obviously faulty. I argue further from scripture and LDS Church history that there was already a form of death, reproduction, and choice/experience in the Garden of Eden. Thus the Fall of Adam was a change in degree*, not a universal change in *condition.
