Rebirth | The Outlast Trials | Solo, No Commentary | Our Empress

Welcome to my 18th Rebirth, 3rd since the update brought Rebirth back! I took a moment after this Rebirth to reflect on everything I had experienced since the beginning of me playing this game. I got it on PC before the console release and got most of my deaths and failed trials from that time! Haven't died or failed that much since then, and usually only in Escalation.

Anyway, back to the TRIAL at hand.

I'm enjoying the mirrored aspect of Rebirth! I know Rebirth well so having everything flipped is a fun switch up on what I feel I know. My brain flips well, luckily for me.

The best strategy for me is to deliver the beginning files quickly so I can move on to the next part. I don't dread or hate anything in Rebirth so I can say I'm just trying to get through everything as fast as possible.

I do dread and hate any part with Tom Clancy Sam Fisher Night Hunter, though, but that's already a known. That's not exclusive to Rebirth.

I wiggle past the bigguns and down the stairs to find my keys. My keys currently living with Tom Clancy.

I stealthily take a look around to find my keys and avoid the ever-ogling eye of Tom Clancy. I gotta take care of the Screamer because he is much too near my key for me to get it without angering him. I don't need Tom Clancy hovering any more than he already does.

After getting my keys and nearly having a heart attack thinking that Tom Clancy was going to get me, I get back to the main hallway to use my keys where the Berserker is standing in my way, punching stuff. I decide to Corrupt him and make he sicky which gives me a SECOND of downtime to use my key and run in. I'm such a gamer sometimes.

Find my first frequency with ease. I'm glad I got used to this map before I ever started recording videos, haha! I used to get very lost in this house.

I find my film with ease, dodging Prime Assets left and right. I seem to get the Kress Twins a lot this round for some reason. Makes up for when I didn't see them much at all in my last bout of Rebirth.

I would like to work down my Rebirth tokens to 0 or as close as I can get, so hopefully you'll be seeing more Rebirth from me in the near future.

With the Berserk out of the way, I can use my key freely and go off to find more frequencies, a jerrycan, and start the generator.

Unfortunately, I am so taken with Coyle's appearance in my Rebirth, I fall for the 180 Surprise. Though my reflexes are fast, we still hit each other and I take a lot more damage than he does. I had just opened a health container so I was able to get that health back!

At the house, Tom Clancy spots me for a SECOND, but I manage to wiggle off before things get scary. I wait for him to leave before trying to retrieve my jerrycan and figure out the frequency. I'm glad I do it when I do because not a minute later, Coyle is in that same spot, being Coyle.

I rev up those fryers (generator) like nobody's business! Uninterrupted, too! I am equal parts lucky and crafty in Rebirth.

While I'm trying to leave the house area, Tom Clancy sees me so I take him on a merry chase through an area I know will light up once the lights come back on so he'll LEAVE ME ALONE. Dweeb.

After that, it's film time! Film time is right before Mother Gooseberry comes to put us all down for our naps.

Even though she's out, I venture out because I wanna leave! I wanna breath fresh air! The trials are inside me, now LET ME OUT.

I take a moment to admire the exit, to look at all those who got so far but not quite far enough. I look beyond the trial environment and say goodbye to the family that kept me and comforted me these long weeks.

I get Bambino as my chasing Prime Asset so of course I have to hurt him a little before I go. Only natural. He called me the m word after all.

I enjoy the empty space between the trials and freedom.

The Cuban revolution was the very first Rebirth I ever experienced! Maybe this is what made me nostalgic for the early days of this game.

I admire the outside world, the bright colors, the sun! My hotel room even bloodied and muddied is such a welcome sight.

I think most of the Rebirth areas have a secret message in them. I've found others though I can't remember off the top of my head what they said.

I love that I can see Father at any time! In any surface, at any time, as long as I hear those special three words.

Another successful Rebirth! I hope everyone is enjoying not only solo Rebirth but Communal as well! Perhaps I'll do a solo Communal Rebirth for the channel.
