The E38 BMW 740i is a rising classic and I wanted to find one. Helped in status by being the choice of both Frank Martin and James Bond, surely this couldn't go wrong?
In this video I take a look at the paint and start to give the car a bit of a detail and machine polish just so it looks tidy whilst I decide what to do with it (and the other projects we have on the go). Does this end happily? Watch and find out!
Just for note this is a 740i and the majority of the scenes in the Transporter were shot with a BMW E38 750il referred to as a 735i as a marketing ploy by BMW. This car is also blue .. not black. Before you get on my case about it not being the actual car (There were actually 3 cars of different spec used in the film too lol)
