Part 2 of 2
Finally, time to assemble the Caterpillar D4400 Diesel engine! First we need to swap out one of the sleeves. Then we start install and torque the crankshaft. Followed by piston oil and compression ring gapping. Diesel engine overhaul. Overall, progress continues on the 1939 Cat D4 agricultural crawler. 4G9986 "Lil Lefty" has never been so much fun and fulfilling. I hope you enjoy the shop talk, banter and commentary.
