Abezash Fekede is 18 years old and was born in Yerba Boricha. The death of her father when she was young devastated her family and led to a difficult childhood. Eventually, she had no choice but to run away from home.
Abezash is among the many children that end up on the streets in Ethiopia, alone, confused and with no support.
GOAL teams on the ground, with the support of their partners are able to support thousands of children like Abezash with food, shelter, and education. Abezash now owns her own business.
