歷史建築-後壁安溪國小 Historic Site - Houbi Anxi Elementary School

安溪國民小學位於台南市後壁區白新公路旁。

在民國三年(1914年)四月廿日於安溪寮林家祖廟設校﹐直到民國五年使成立店仔口(白河)公學校安溪寮分校﹐民國十年四月廿日正式獨立﹐民國卅年四月一日學制改革﹐訂校名為「安溪寮國民學校」。民國卅六年三月一日奉命改為「後壁鄉安溪國民學校」﹐民國五十七年八月﹐實施九年國教﹐再易校名為「台南縣安溪國民小學」。民國九十九年十二月﹐縣市合併﹐易校名為「臺南市後壁區安溪國民小學」至今。
民國卅四年台灣光復前﹐歷任校長﹑教員均以日本人為主。
該校建於1950年代的舊辦公室與禮堂已在2004年9月22日被公告為歷史建築。

The Anxi Elementary School (安溪國民小學) is located alongside Baixin Highway in Houbi District, Tainan City.

The school's history began on April 20, 1914, when it was established at the Lin Family Ancestral Temple in Anxiliao. It was officially recognized as a branch of the Dianzikou (Baihe) Public School in 1916. On April 20, 1921, it became formally independent. Following an educational reform on April 1, 1941, the name was set as "Anxiliao National School."
After Taiwan's retrocession, the name was changed on March 1, 1947, to "Houbi Township Anxi National School." In August 1968, with the implementation of nine-year compulsory education, the name was changed again to "Tainan County Anxi Elementary School." With the county-city merger in December 2010, the name was finalized as the "Tainan City Houbi District Anxi Elementary School," which it remains today.
Before Taiwan's retrocession in 1945, the principals and teachers were predominantly Japanese.
The school's old office building and auditorium, constructed in the 1950s, were officially designated as a Historical Building on September 22, 2004.
