Thrift With Me at Thrift and Dollar in Aurora, Illinois

Trusty shares one of his favorite honey holes - Thrift and Dollar in Aurora, Illinois.

Thrift and Dollar is an independently operated thrift store offering everything from antiques to contemporary in glass, metal wood, both decorative and functional. One of Trusty's favorite aspects of their store is their discounting structure. Their prices are good to begin with but then, for a lot of their smaller items, in an attempt to turn inventory more quickly, they use a colored sticker system which rotates to offer 50% off. Many items have remained in Trusty's personal collection, but most head toward Etsy or to Trusty's weekly vintage live sales on Thursdays at 8pm eastern, here on YouTube.
