Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz has plead guilty to 17 counts of murder and a jury is now hearing evidence to determine whether to recommend the death penalty or life in prison. A student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School at the time of the shooting testified that she bumped into Cruz as she was trying to flee the campus. She told the jury that Cruz, who she had already known because he previously attended the school, appeared calm as they had a brief conversation about summer plans.
