WCW Road Wild 1999 is the final Road Wild PPV that World Championship Wrestling would bring to Sturgis, South Dakota.
Dennis Rodman makes his return to the ring when he faces Macho Man Randy Savage in a grudge match. Diamond Dallas Page looks to win the US Championship from Chris Benoit, Harlem Heat get a shot at the Jersey Triad's Tag Team Championships, and the main event features the PPV return of the Red and Yellow Hulk Hogan as he defends his World Title against Kevin Nash.
