Dallol Desert - the hottest place on earth

Dallol, a volcanic region of Ethiopia, has the distinction of being the hottest place on earth on average—although the high temperature there has never quite reached the heights of those recorded in Death Valley.

Dallol is located in the Danakil Depression in the northern part of the Afar triangle of Ethiopia. The volcano is on the NNW trending Erta Ale axial, a rift segment that hosts a number of active volcanoes, including Erta Ale, itself the host of a perennial lava lake.

In such a hot place it is sort of the best tie to spend when we get good travel mates and some cold drinks to celebrate the evening in the middle of desert.
