Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion | Athens Day Trip

On a windy day in August, we took a day trip from Athens to Cape Sounion to visit the Temple of Poseidon. This ancient Greek temple, overlooking the Aegean Sea, was dedicated to Poseidon, the god of the sea.

Admission is 20 euros per person, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk uphill from the entrance to the archaeological site.
