Ever wondered what the white spots that occur on fish fins are? Dr Richmond Loh explains fin fractures can be confused with white spot disease caused by Ich parasite, encysted fish fluke metacercariae, and granulomas (e.g. from fish tuberculosis). Using the microscope, we give a detailed examination of the spots on fish fins.
