We leave lock de l'Aiguille near Puichéric, early in the morning. We pass some more stairway locks and we are accompanied by some LocaBoats (rental boats).
That's always exciting. Especially when one of the lock keepers turns out be in a bad mood and gives us the "all at once" treatment.
He opens the panels of his lock and we are almost flooded. The force of the water is enormous!
But we get to Carcassonne without any damage, so that's good.
Later on we visit the famous 'Cité' of Carcassonne.
It's worth while!
