EASY Tripod Carry with Montana Bow Sling

The Montana Bow Sling is a great carry system for your compound archery bow. Also, a unique way to support & transport weight of your camera, telephoto lens & tripod when hiking, scouting in the field searching for wildlife to photograph or video. Here is a suggestion for using this backpack strap system to make carrying the weight of a tripod/camera setup easier.

ABOUT: Pursuing wildlife on camera, Run-n-Gunn style, encounters with animals happens very fast. In a moment, you have to be ready with your camera to capture a great image or video. Often this means having your tripod and camera set up, ready to go. But hiking distance over terrain, carrying a tripod/camera in hand, is very tiring on the arms & hands. Especially for us older folks, whose hands are not so steady anymore to photo/video off hand. Placing over the shoulder isn't very comfortable either and you have to trust your camera is connected securely or it's a long drop to the ground. Also, shoulder carry adds movement up high that easily spooks wildlife.

I show how to use the Montana Bow Sling backpack strap system for carrying optics or camera gear in the field while seeking wildlife photos or videos. Puts the heavy weight of such a tripod-camera-telephoto lens or spotting scope system on your backpack shoulder straps instead of fully in your hands, arms or over your shoulder. At the same time allowing you to be hands free when using binoculars, cell phone or other devices. This strap carry system reduces fatigue in the outdoors when hiking distances searching for that next great wildlife photo.
