The online Big Data Analytics course from Georgetown University's Master of Science in Finance gives students the tools to apply big data to business in order to draw meaningful conclusions.
Georgetown's Big Data online course content is broken into three modules to explore and build upon the student's knowledge of big data and data analytics.
The first module aims to answer questions such as 'what is big data?', 'what is data mining?' and 'what is data analysis?'. The second module hones in on data exploration and visualization.
By the final module of the course, students will be given a final group project in which they are asked to demonstrate how to simplify data and present business solutions.
