toriel is a goat-like monster who is the second major character the protagonist encounters in undertale. she saves the protagonist from flowey and guides them through the ruins, of which she is the self-proclaimed caretaker. before the events of undertale, she was married to king asgore and had a son, asriel. when the deaths of their two children pushed asgore to declare war on humanity, toriel left him and remained in the ruins. toriel often checks the entrance to the ruins to tend to the bed of golden flowers and aid those who fall into the underground. sometime after that, toriel and sans became friends over knock-knock jokes they shared at the ruins's exit door. one day, she requested that he promises to protect humans that exit through the door.

glamrock freddy, also known simply as freddy fazbear, is freddy fazbear's glamrock counterpart who appears in five nights at freddy's: security breach as the deuteragonist and ally to gregory. unlike his counterparts, glamrock freddy actively assists and protects gregory. he is initially introduced as a bookish, straightforward entertainer. unlike other animatronics in the franchise and his previous iterations, glamrock freddy is overall a friendly, honest, and agreeable personality. he is shown to be very protective of gregory and very focused on keeping him safe, going as far as allowing him to hide in his stomach (albeit he is at first uncomfortable to do so as his compartment is not suited to hide humans) to prevent the other animatronics from finding him. he may not be smarter than the average bear, but he protects gregory at all costs as they try to escape the pizzaplex.
