This gameplay was featured in "The Warrior Priest True Solo Experience".
This setup is a really interesting one. It's the only other setup in the game other than Ironbreaker's Gromril Curse that can escape a disabler after he's been grabbed. As long as you have enough hp (which this build generates tons of from hordes and elites) and your fury is not yet activated, you have a good chance to survive once grabbed by a leech or assassin (packmasters are a coin toss most of the time).
Additionally, hammer and tome allows for surprisingly decent special killing thanks to it's charge attacks and dashes. Priest still struggles to reach specials at long range but with the hammer and tome and its dash, it allows for a good amount of wiggle room in addressing those pesky vermin.
The heals are not so bad either. :)
