Tea For Two - Dan Delaney - EARLY MORNING STRIDE PIANO!

STRIDE PIANO at 11am in a Tux! What a gig this morning! I played for the MPSW Convention ( Mechanical Plumbers Southwest) hundreds of people gathered for this huge event in Phoenix. I played a solid two hours of Jazz piano on a very responsive small Yamaha G1. I had a ball! I got a chance to see everyone as they entered and were leaving at this grand entrance. And with so many people the upbeat “jazzy” vibe was the way to fly. This was the first tune I played, “Tea For Two” as I was feeling out what the piano would hold for me for the next two hours. It played great and the setting was very elegant with great acoustics allowing me to explore the dynamics of the instrument. I played tons of tunes! Pardon the crude video/audio so unlike my polished stuff from my home, but felt this clip captured a special moment. Hope you enjoy seeing this not so typical gig.
