my name is Mac Junky and welcome back to another video! in todays video we will be learning how to downgrade iOS 10 back to iOS 9 / 9.3.2 for free. all you need is a computer with iTunes and a download of iOS 9.3.2 to start!
if iOS 10 was buggy, slow, and unresponsive, especially on your iPhone 5/5s, then this video is for you! if you simply dont like iOS 10, and want to return to the comfort of iOS 9's familiar features, this video will give you the knowledge needed to do so.
in the video you will use IPSW downloads to download iOS 9 to your Mac/PC. after this you will open iTunes, go to your iPhones summary and hold the option key while you click the check for update button. this will prompt finder to show you all the files on your computer. select the one that says iOS 9, and click update. your phone will restart, and install iOS 9. keep in mind this will take a while because iOS 9 is a large file, same goes for iOS 10. after updating you will keep all your pictures, videos, and apps, no data will be lost. also be sure to select iOS 9.3.2 on the IPSW website to be sure that apple will approve of the firmware. thanks for watching, and enjoy ios 9!
