Opel Manta Owners Club at the National Classics, NEC 2025.

The Opel Manta Owners club was delighted to be asked to display 4 cars at the Lancaster Insurance National Classic Motor show, held over the weekend of the 7th - 9th November 2025.
To celebrate 50 years of the Opel Manta B, which was launched in September of 1975, we had a line of some very special examples of both the original and the facelift version of the Manta B, including the amazing custom Manta Coupe, built in 1977 and painted in the amazing period metal flake green. This car has been hidden away for the last 30 years, so we were thrilled that the owner Stuart was able to bring it along.
Also displayed we have a beautiful Silver Manta B GT/E in left hand drive format (these top spec fuel injected versions were not available in the UK. This car has been restored by Charlie Middleton over the last few years and is very original, including the striking black bonnet that identifies this as a GT/E model.

The Manta Exclusive Coupe in Monaco blue may ring some bells with people, as it was an exhibit at the Lakeland Motor Museum for many years. Paul has since restored this car to an incredibly high standard, as you can see. It really is in a "better than new" condition now as is testament to his hard work.

The Silver GT/E Manta Hatch has also been off the road for 20 years, and this weekend was its first proper journey in all that time. It has just undergone an extensive recommissioning process and looks every but as good as the day it was new.
