I tried to make this video as short as possible while still being informative. This video is geared more towards fellow woodworkers and their first time attempting to make a stovetop cover/noodle board.
While I use bigger power tools such as a miter saw and table saw, the results can still be achieved with a simple circular saw. I'll share my secret to making sure you get a very smooth finish as well as maintain a deep rich tone for the stain.
MATERIALS USED:
Common pine board 1x6x8 - 2 pieces
Varathane Golden Oak Stain
Varathane Water Based Polyurethane Satin Finish
Steel Wool Grade #0000
Titebond Original Wood Glue
