Ram 1500 DT (2019- 2024+) SmartBeam Automatic High Beam Headlight Install with Programming

In this video I will be upgrading my 2020 Ram 1500 DT to SmartBeam Automatic High beam headlights. This process should work for all DT half ton trucks. The heavy duty trucks should be similar.

As far as I know, the only prerequisite is that the truck should already have an auto dimming rear view mirror. You do not need to have LED headlights.

Supplies needed:
OEM rear view mirror with SmartBeam (check ebay and LKQ Online!)
-When checking for used mirrors, if you don't have a picture of the part, make sure to run the vin number of the parts truck to verify that it has Smart Beam. LKQ had 90% of their parts trucks mislabeled as having Smart Beam.

You will need to active the below options with AlfaOBD in the Car Configuration Change Menu:
1: VehicleConfig 1: Auto Highbeam- Yes
2: 2014 CBC Config I/O & Feat.: Auto High Beam Module Location- ECC AHBM
3: CustSetMenu 1: Auto High Beam CSM Present- Yes
4: Lin & Misc: SMart Beam Present (AHBM)- Yes (Note: This may not show up in Alfa OBD depending on your BCM version. My truck did not need it)
