300D was having trouble starting. What I found and fixed

My 1987 300D has had issues starting recently. The symptom would be that the initial start is fine. But if you turn it off and then tried starting it again, it didn't always start. It would crank indefinitely.
Diesel Mercedes use a vacuum line to the injection pump. When the car is turned off, vacuum holds the shutoff switch in the down (OFF) position, making the fuel injection pump unable to send fuel. When the key is put in and turned to position 2, it releases the vacuum and the shutoff switch goes into up (ON) position.
My problem is somewhere here. I replaced two parts:
Vacuum box `000-070-46-53`
Ignition valve housing `000-460-02-84`
After replacing these, I also made sure the vacuum lines were plugged in correctly. The line to the injection pump is brown/blue and line to brake booster is brown.
