Wareham is a small town on the edge of the Purbeck Hills and Poole Harbour and once a thriving Saxon Port. The town still has the original Saxon earthworks along three sides and on by the north gate sits the remarkable Saxon Church of St Martin, built around 1000AD. Come and see the rich history of this quiet town.
