Tafsir of Surah al-Fatihah by Shaykh Ibrahim Tarapuri [English]

Shaykh Ibrahim Tarapuri Sahib’s tafsir was originally delivered in Urdu. It drew from 35 classical works of tafsir in an accessible format to enable the listener to gain an appreciation of the wisdom and key lessons of the Qur'an and develop a closer relationship with the Final Revelation.

You have before you an English translation of the Tafsir of Surah al-Fatihah, translated into English by Naveed ur Rehman, edited and read by Shaykh Shafi Chowdhury and the recitation of verses of the Qur’an by Shaykh Ibrahim Tarapuri.

This effort to convey the message of the Qur’an to the Ummah has been applauded by prominent scholars from around the globe, including Shaykh Abul Hasan Ali Hasani Nadwi, Shaykh Abdullah Kapodravi, Mufti Sayyid Abdur Raheem Lajpori, Mufti Muhammad Yousuf Ludhianvi, and Mufti Muhammad Rafi Usmani – May Allah honour them all.
