Playing Music For Plants: How Does Music Affect the Growth of Plants
There are quite a fair number of studies that have shown that playing music for plants do really promote faster and healthier growth in plants.
In 1962, an Indian botanist conducted a few experiments on the correlation between music and plant growth. He realized that certain plants grew an extra 20% in height when exposed to music!
A researcher in Illinois was doubtful whether plants do respond positively to music, therefore he conducted a few highly controlled greenhouse experiments. Interestingly, he noticed that soy and corn plants that were exposed to music were thicker and greener with significantly larger yields.
